Required Dancewear:

Dance Team Girls ● Black Leotard, Black/Tan Convertible Tights (see instructor for required shoes)

* Long hair should be pulled up off the shoulders & away from the face
* No gum chewing, food, open containers allowed in the dance rooms
* No cellphones allowed in the dance rooms
* No "outside" shoes allowed in the dance rooms

PLEASE NOTE: This list is subject to change depending on the needs of the class and is at the discretion of the instructor. This is a BASIC
list to prepare the dancers for class. Recital/Competition needs may vary. We have a dress code to ensure uniformity, safety and proper
teaching techniques. Failure to adhere to dress code may result in the student being asked to leave the classroom. Our staff highly
recommends Balera Brand shoes, tights, and dancewear. Visit The Dance Closet page for more information.
Account Statements & Payments:
* Lessons are billed the 1st of each month and payment is due by the 10th to avoid a late fee. The following payment options
are available:
-- Parent Portal ~ Visa, MC & Discover
-- Midtown Plaza ~ Visa, MC, Discover, Cash (exact change) & Checks
-- Moody Rd. & Durham ~ Checks Only (please note payments will not be posted the same day)
* Costume Payments are due in October. Costume Payments are NON-REFUNDABLE after November 15th.
* There is a $15.00 late fee for accounts not paid by the 10th of each month.
* There is a $25.00 returned check fee for any checks returned by the bank NSF.
* Account Statements are e-mailed each month. You may request a copy of your statement at anytime.
* Any student that misses 4 consecutive classes without written notification will be dismissed from class without refund.
* Any family that becomes more than 60 days past due may be placed on suspension until account is brought current.
Perfect Attendance Awards:
* Any student that does NOT miss any classes throughout the year or has made up any missed class time will receive a
perfect attendance award at the close of the year.
* Trophies will be awarded to 5, 10, 15 year students at the annual recital. Award certificates will be presented at the last class
for all other recipients.
* If you miss a class you must attend a make-up class in the same or lower age level in order to maintain perfect attendance.
Please see your instructor to schedule a time.
* GOLD STAR CLUB: This is a special recognition award for students that NEVER missed a class throughout the Fall/Winter
season. Students will receive special recognition at the end of the year for their dedication.
Discounts & Other Credits:
* Student Discount ~ 3 classes: 5%, 4 classes: 10%, 5 or more classes: 15%
* Family Discount ~ 2 students: 10%, 3 students: 15%, 4 or more students: 20%
Student and Family discounts will be removed if your payment is not received by the 10th of the month.
* Pre-Payment Package Discount ~ Please contact the studio in August if you would like a quote on a prepayment package.
This will include all regularly scheduled tuition at a 15% or 20% discount, costume payments, $25 gift certificate to "The Dance
Closet" for merchandise and a coupon for 2 recital tickets. This offer is only available for the month of August and September
and will offer a substantial savings for the year. Please email us and we will send you a written quote.
* Honor Roll Credit ~ Any student that achieves HONOR ROLL status at school will receive a $10.00 account credit to use for
lessons, costumes or other purchases. Students must provide the studio with a newspaper clipping or a letter from the school
principal/guidance office stating that the student has achieved this honor. If a school does not participate in an honor roll
program, they must provide a copy of their report card with all A's.
Pricing Information:
30min Classes: $24 per month (Drop-In: $7 per class) 45min Classes: $32 per month
60min Classes: $42 per month 90min Classes: $52 per month
Private Choreography: $20 per 1/2 hr.
PreDance I Costume Fee: $60 w/tights (Tap only) PreDance II Costume Fee: $75 w/tights (Tap & Tumbling)
KinderDance Costume Fee: $80 w/tights (Tap & Ballet) Kinder Acrobatics Costume Fee: $50 w/tights
COMBO Costume Fee: $100 w/tights (Tap, Ballet & Jazz)
All Other Classes Costume Fee: $70 per class ... not including tights
(All Costume Fees are NON-Refundable after Nov 15th)
